You can visit Spoon factory and Ligatne Winery shop. You will see our production from more than 17 different woods that are grown in Latvia. We make cutting boards, spoons, forks and other useful items for kitchen. Outside the shop we have 2 big spoons that are made by a lot of people.

In the Ethnographic Open-air museum of Latvia in 4th and 5th june 2011, when there was the big fair, was being made the biggest spoon in Latvia.

The spoon making was being directed by the master of „Spoon Factory” Ainars Vanags. There were created 2 biggest spoons – two sisters. The spoons were made from lime–tree, which was grown in energetic circle. The lime–tree was planted to sustain women’s fertility.

Museum’s visitors had a chance to take part in the 2 spoons’ creating process to get their fertility’s and pleasure’s chip. In both days there were about 7,5 thousand carvers – creaters and about 17,5 thousand „Spoon Factory’s” visitors who made big lines to take part in making and giving names for the spoons.

There also were Latvia’s ex–prezident Valdis Zatlers with his wife Lilita Zatlere, who took part in making the spoons ang got their fertility’s and pleasure’s chips.

One of the two sisters is staying in the Ethnographic Open-air museum of Latvia. Second sister is staying in Augšīgatne in the „Spoon Factory”, where it is continuing life in energetic circle and gladdening visitors.
